I just don’t get why everybody thinks I’m rich when the insurance companies are taking everything I got three of them without Healthcare that would be number four so you laid out on top of my income you understand sure you understand. I worked for many folks who pay me as I go cause they not sure what they want will be ok for them .

Its a open job they always pay me cause there free to decide what they want.

What makes a doctor get their pay to get paid for what they know, but me I got a compete against the lowest of the lowest who has the less to show us think about the reality of an American worker trying to survive and follow the laws of the land while It don’t apply to others they only apply to us. Been saving this for a few years it was about to go in the trash. It was terrible. Found it at a rental house. Told the owner. No, let’s save this. I know it don’t look like much now, but I’m gonna make it look new again. Nobody thinks about me till they need me . During the flood i was only called when another contractor screwed up. And there were many screw ups. I had the reputation of fixing poop via redo. Was also so cheap I lost my behind off.

The reason is I hired people and could not seem to have time to do what i needed cause I had to keep moving and getting what they constantly asked me for. I did not charge enough for me.

But hey people they do not care about us they replace us like trash.

For people i used to hire died of different causes and no body even thought about them.

Anybody got some wallpaper to rip out do some sheet rock and some priming and some painting a little slick finish walls I’ve done a few jobs like that in the last few years several jobs and I admire the slick finish. I hate Texter. I don’t know why people like texture creates more trashy texture than it does good texture it’s like you do better just to match smooth smooth, than texture with texture Cans they sell, never match what’s on the wall no matter how hard you adjust it. The one that used to have that work they change the tip they got super high and expensive. It’s cheaper to buy a box of mud and mix your own. 

I do it when required but I much prefer to mix my own then pay for cans of texture premade yep I’m old school do it, right !

I’m not playing that game anymore. You might not be able to afford a paint job right now, but them windows are gonna rot. If you don’t get them taken care of all you need is a crack in the chalk.

After you get that crack that you haven’t paid attention to the water gets behind it you don’t see it yet it’s soaking in it still, but it’s in there and it’s not coming out until it gets hot enough to boil out.

When that water evaporates, it produces hot steam that steam gets behind the paint it weakens the resin adhesion from paint to wood. You don’t see it yet but sooner or later the paint starts to peel most of the time it blows off if you pressure wash it I noticed stuff been doing it for 28 years in Baton Rouge, I reworked windows prime were needed. Rework where needed reglaze if needed and you’re back to new I like 2 to 3 coats of good quality paint not cheap quality paint and I like to charge for my work. I don’t do this for free and I don’t do it for my pleasure, it’s not fun. It’s called work. I like to rework your windows before you end up having to spend 2700 on a new one sure It might cost you $600 but if I save you 2700 does it make sense yeah that’s an actual figure From a window I did back in 1999 for one of them Sunburst transom, wood windows I rebuilt it had to replace a lot of wood with Bondo, but I made it look new again.The homeowners did not mine with my quality of expertise and sculpturing. I don’t even know if I have that picture anymore it might be on my Facebook profile who knows it’s somewhere it’s out there might even be on google company profile.

This window actually passed inspection and the house was sold two years after I did the work. I wonder if it’s still holding up I did that job in Santa Maria. I’m proud of it. It was a cluster of rot yeah I like the brag about some of the things I do, always get nice pieces of crap to work on what you know what I’ll make it into success. I’m not a new Painter. I’m a problem solver I’m more than a painter. I have experience in water. Yes, I used to be a shipbuilder. First class welder structural fitter became Painter, I know all kinds of tricks I know how to mold sheet rock. I know how to repair rot, I know how to put it back in. You never noticed it was Bondo underneath sometime. I don’t like that job.

When the power came back on, I opened the deep freeze immediately to see if it hit a melted. Everything was still solid as a rock. The ice that I had in there didn’t even drip. I can’t believe that was that’s amazing, but I went to the apartment provided refrigerator my bread was thawed out, the vegetables were thawed out, but the fish was still frozen. Most people couldn’t even handle the hard times that I’ve suffered, giving my money to the insurance companies the state, the equipment, the tools, the labor, and come out empty-handed. Most of you guys would put a gun to your head stick it in your mouth and pull the trigger most of you guys don’t know how hard I’ve worked, I’m just state it for the record. You know how hard it is to deal with some people you know you can please a lot of people and I got a lot of pleased customers. There’s just one or two of them are total butt holes. You know that right you could do the best job for them and then they will turn around and talk on your back, if you hear anybody if you hear anybody.

Tell them how ungrateful they are so ungrateful, and they ought to be ashamed of herself because they’re normally spoiled and never had to suffer like I have to do what I’ve done and have what I have and lose what I’ve lost all the years that I’ve suffered just to be here in this city so there’s a piece of my mind. I don’t hate anybody, but I hate suffering and sometimes business owners like me lose everything and right now. I’m not in the perfect circles anymore. Most of my customers move the Florida retired create new customers hard developing respect, getting you to respect me is hard, just know that I have earned my place and this city and I have given myself for others and a special place that you find me 2 to 3 times a day.

I got a memory to share with you. They had a house going up on Perkins Road after Gustaf and I ask him for a job and he said the only thing is is you gotta have your own insurance. so I gave him business card LLC and

took his words back and said oh, but I got this job already Labored. The next day illegal immigrants showed up. I went home and illegal immigrants were on the job fixing apartments after the storm. Nobody would hire me and I was living off MREs from Katrina that I had saved so I’m sitting here eating watching illegal immigrants work in my own country I’ll never forget that y’all. I’ll never forget that I was hungry and they were working in front of me and it hurt like hell for Americans turning the knife back on me. I’ll never forget that that’s the last thing you ever hear. Come out of my mouth. I’ll never forget what Americans has done Americans here.
