Maybe you should know that I’ve outlived most of them and I’m still slinging my friends are all in a grave. I don’t know what happened to them. Man it’s gonna cost you a lot more money if you wait you know what happens when a crack chalk gets wet?
Seepage yeah that’s right then it takes a long time to get out because it’s hard to climb back into the crack that it came in with so it just sits there and waits for the temperature to boil it out. In the meantime everything gets marinated makes it timber tender. You know what I mean after that you’re cooked and don’t dry out it rots out I like to tell you that you know why cause I need you to think about the money in your pocket. It’s cheaper to pay me to get on top of that chalk it and paint it than it is for a Carpenter to get up there and cut it out. Bondo it caulk it and paint it or cut it out replace it and paint it think about it get on top of it man quit ignoring me. I’m in your best interest and I’m a fair price guy not trying to rip you off. I just like to work because the more I worked the better I feel and when I leave your house, I feel any better even better why cause I help somebody and when I help people I feel like a decent human being. Would you help me or would you rather sit back and judge me that’s fine too I know the other side of that I’ve watched them judge me before. Better not say that.

I remember one company like to park their vans in front of my van just so they can block the signs of my van to take pictures of them doing it then they stop doing it. That’s funny ain’t it? I just thought I’d let y’all know. You know the signs are illegal and they’re sticking them everywhere I go. They’re so illegal. You better pick them up gonna hit up to $1100 fine for a sign. Painted in 2009 I just wanna let you know I use good products so this has been around a while. It’s been in the sun. It’s been in the weather just is just a small sample of the way. My paint holds up. It don’t need no paint, but I’m about to put a fresh coat of higher quality paint if you wanna know what this is And you want some work done on your house. 2010 restrained sealed! Everything still holding up that’s why I can’t keep doing my customers because all my customers work are holding up. They don’t need me every five years. It’s more like 15 to 25 years. I’m not lying to y’all. I’m telling you the truth but I use products that last I do things to make it last I sell value. I charge more a little bit more because I take more time with my work. I’m not a spitting run Painter a spit shine lipstick on a pig Painter. I’m not that I’m a quality minded save you money for years to come. You don’t know who I am. You don’t believe me, but I got evidence because I’m still around 29 years later in Baton Rouge and my work is still there it’s not covered up by somebody else’s paint it’s holding up What more do you want me to tell you? I’m the best painter you can hire in the area, the ones that I used to work with they died and one of them retired and I keep doing good work because one of these days I’m gonna lay down to rest and never get up but I’ll be gone. I know a few of them anyway you gotta dig out the rot and then you gotta make sure you get down a good wood it and then get you some Bondo and you put it in the hole. There’s all kinds of ways of doing this and I don’t give away all my secrets, but I called that plastic surgery you got problems you need me to fix. I’ll fix it for you. Don’t worry about it. I’ve done this many times before most of the time you can’t tell I did itsometimes I save money.

It might not mean anything to a lot of people, but it means something to me that I’ve been doing only Painting in this city since 1996. Nobody pays my bills I do self support is important to me. I have only lived off my own painting skills of only painted Drywall, interior, exterior pressure, washing pressure washing your driveways. I love skimming walls and sanding them down and putting in primer and making them slick finished that’s just part of the projects that I do. The main thing is the only thing that has supported me for the last 29-30 years here in Baton Rouge has only been my painting. I do nothing else that’s enough said this is all I’ve done for the last 30 years in Baton Rouge is paint if my competitors can’t tell you that they have no equal to me they have no pains like I do nobody’s walked in my shoes except for a slim American few. There’s not a lot of people around that we’re painting when I was painting years ago. A lot of them passed away. Some of them took their lives because of a hopeless Times they got in.
It’s really hard to be a painter we always begging for work a Painter like me. I don’t have the money to go advertising. I do my own work. I get help here and there sometimes when the works big enough turns out that I’m so good that I don’t need help most of the time I like help I wish I did have enough work to keep busy. Turns out it’s not like that that’s not reality.
I am a quality minded pride based craftsman who loves my work no I’m not an artist and I have some reality speed and performance.
And I also know what longevity is and quality I sell value I don’t sell cheap.
It’s true I’ve seen the cheap jobs out there. I’ve had to fix them. I’ve had to repaint them less than five years later. Where is my jobs have held up from 16 to 26 years and I’ve done it with the cheap paint. I’m not bragging. I’m telling you the facts I can show you jobs That I’ve done my friends. If you are my friends I’m trying to survive. Nobody’s here to take care of me, I gotta work for a living. Nobody handed me down any trust fund. Nobody’s giving me a government check and I wasn’t educated with a college education. In fact I paid for an education and a school shut down on me. I told you I was making straight A’s in electronics.
Turns out that skill is no longer very good skill to be in everything‘s board changing now because they make boards so cheap. They don’t have to do any kind of technical troubleshooting, but I like troubleshooting when I was doing it I mean, I got that kind of mine I like the troubleshoot I like to look into things I like to figure out why Maybe maybe maybe I can do something else maybe somebody else has a job for me maybe you got a good decent offer for me maybe you should give me an email. Call my number. Text my number and say hey I got a job for you. I’m trying to survive y’all. Nobody’s paying my bills. I gotta pay them myself. Nobody is paying them when God blesses me. He blesses me with work thank God for work cause I love work it’s entertainment for me. It’s not entertainment for you, but I gotta let you know something. I’m also reasonable I don’t try to kill people’s take their money. I try to get what they need done and then I get their money but normally they’re happy to give it to me and I’m grateful to them. It’s called saying thank you the way you say thank you as you pay me I’m thankful just to get a job. I like having something to do every day but every now and then day, I miss the good old days a year ago only this year I’ve had trouble. I know why the border is open. That’s why I think there oughta be a penalty For turning your back on me and other Americans don’t you?
There are some heroes out there that have given me work and I am surely grateful to them. I am so grateful you wouldn’t believe how grateful I am to them. You know who you are. I’m having a hard time stringing enough work up. I’m not bragging about how great my business is because I’m a one-man business. I don’t think there’s anybody out there upset with me for anything that I’ve done currently if they are, they’re not telling me in fact, they’ve left me fine fine nice reviews and I appreciate that and I’m grateful to them. Painterpaul I’m wishing I had something to do. I don’t like sitting here. It’s torturing me.
I got to admit to y’all. I am a workaholic. I can’t handle peace and TV and computer Internet. I can’t handle just sitting here and eaten all day. I’m also addicted to food when I sit here I eat. I don’t wanna sit here and eat. I’m killing myself. I’m also a diabetic if I’m not working I’m dying. means I’m not exercising.
I’m sure my competitors would glory over that I mean after all I’ve done better work than most of the contractors I’ve ever seen outside. Out Worked most of the people out there as a one-man show I’ve done more than five men on a job. I’ve got a lot of my jobs because other contractors got fired During the flood. Every job I got was because a contractor got fired and I had to fix their screw ups, who am I am I illegal? no I was born and raised in New Orleans. I went to John Ehret, high school I graduated. I was going to school for electricity electronics. I was making straight A’s. I used to be a welder in Avondale shipyard a ship fitter I used to do structural steel. I’ve worked on a Kuwait mission building -mission. I’ve worked on naval vessels of repair oil takers. Who am I? I’m suffering illegal administration before who screwed up the country messed up the economy and flooded us with outside people leaving me with no work. You can laugh at me if you want, but I need to work if I don’t work, I’m gonna die because I’m not getting exercise and I’m getting fidgety. You got to have something to do. Somebody’s got to have the money to hire me. I have to keep moving. I’m telling the truth do I believe I’m the best. You’re damn right I am. I’ve been around.
Me now I’m not trying to pay today. I’m trying to pay yesterday too and the day before you know what’s like to pay the bills of a company?
So what am I doing? I’m just asking for a freaking job here and there. I’m just looking for work. I’m just trying to sell my business. Yeah that’s what I’m trying to do. I’m trying to beg for work because I like to work. I don’t like to die I don’t like to sit downand do nothing. I love being busy. I love it. I love it. I love it. Just keep me busy y’all should have a scumbag maintenance talk about how we’re gonna keep PainterPaul busy if he don’t stay busy he’s gonna be out there pissing people off.

I no longer hold a home improvement license.
I can only do projects under 7500 on exteriors, so I’ll be sticking a small job y’all.
I am unlimited on interiors ready to roll without a license.
Do you need anything done under 7500 I’m your man when things change. I’ll get my license back. I’m not sweating it. I’m getting it. I never needed it to begin with once or twice and last year.
Anyway, that’s my announcement. I’m disappointed of course one man show maintaining all of these bills to operate and not getting a charge like a CPA or a lawyer. I maintain a lot of expenses to not be able to charge as much as a welder. It’s pretty sad. They charge me more than I can.
Yeah, this is my blog. I’m sharing my emotions. I’m a little upset right now that you can hire people from all over the country except for the people here you skip over I’m talking in general to those guilty of hiring outside help from outside the state you know who you are. I’ve been right in front of your face starving and I’m disappointed in you. I’ve only been here since July 31, 1996 working in front of your face. How can you hire them when I’m starving in front of your face and I paid for the legal and I paid for the insurance and I’ve owned the license and While you hire them illegally how can you do that? Why is that? OK? I just don’t get it well forgive me for being a little upset. I’m gonna let this slide yeah what can I do arrest everyone?

I like to do sheet rock patches I like to do exterior painting I like to do small jobs get paid quick.
I’m just trying to stay busy in the American way of life.
The last customer is really grateful he got me on his house because we found rot in two different places we got it repaired now it’s off his mind. He’s happy and sleeps. Well I’m so grateful I caught that. I think he is too.
I love painting the entire house and sometimes people can’t afford that, but they need to get to that rot before it rots. I’m good for stuff like that if it’s not too bad, I got a friend of mine that can help with the carpentry
Don’t make the mistake of just sitting there thinking it’s gonna be OK because it’s gonna be OK to charge a lot of money if it rots ask us any of us it’s always OK to charge more money to change rot always OK but taking care of it ahead of time keeps your bill cheap If you want to keep the money in your pocket, you need to call me now not wait. I’m not playing. I’m telling you I looked at this one house and when I gave him the price, he never called back. You know why I found a lot of rot and he thinks I’m gonna be cheap!
I’m sorry, but that’s a lot of work involved. Repairs always cost money. Do you want Repairs or do you want to paint Job? Thank God it thank God you have a chance to take care of it first before it takes care of you.
